Dave Colclough, since his debut in 1995, game play has been consistently better.  It was his father’s taste for card games that lured him to game. He was in state of being confined for twice - for common room poker play in high school at the Richard Gwyn.

Dave Colclough residing in Birmingham achieved his degree in Information Technology (BEC/TEC) from a college in Stock-on-Trent. Before turning to professional poker, he worked as a computer programmer. By and by 2000 WSOP, he quit his rewarding IT job to become a professional poker player. He also traded a nightclub, which he co-owned to play full-time poker. During his leisure hours, he used to write articles for Bet365poker.

Poker Career:

Dave is reckoned to be one of the best and impressive Omaha players to have played the game. European Rankings (commenced in the year 2000) suggests that he is a remarkable player in all poker variants. He first became famous for his multiple appearances at the Late Night Poker Television Series.

He won the $2,000 Pot Limit Hold’em event at the 2000 WSOP, but gave away the bracelet in a deal. In 2003, his continued success earned him the European Poker Player of the Year Award.

Colclough had a final table appearance at the WPT’s third season Grand Prix de Paris event, where he won €84,890 ($103,507). He reached the semi-finals of the World Heads-Up Poker Championship in May 2005 and won €20,000.

He was also voted as the youngest player to join the Elite Club of European Poker Players Hall of Fame during 2005. BlondePoker.com, Colclough’s own website, launched its personal online poker room in 2006 and has won over $2,000,000 in live tournament play.
