Introduction

Seven-Card Stud Poker can be considered as probably the most popular amongst the stud poker games. It is one of those games, which everyone practically knew to play. And today, it shares the spotlight with Texas Hold'em and Omaha and even 5-card stud poker. This is a classic poker game which could demand a professional poker player’s lifetime for mastering it. Seven-card stud poker can result in high pots and affords the player with an opportunity to analyze other poker player’s possible hands.

In 7-Card, there are no community cards. Hence, every poker player has 4 of his 7 cards open to the other players. All in all, in this 7-card stud poker, there would be five rounds of betting, as against the four rounds in Texas Hold’em and Omaha Poker. This poker is only played with a limit betting structure, unlike Texas Hold’em and Omaha poker, and as such, there would be no pot limit or no limit type of betting.
